How to free up memory and storage on an ill-fated late 2013 MacBookPro Retina display

Hi all, new to this community, I have a moody 4th generation time capsule, a mid 2011iMac, and a hopefully still working since being dropped g force 1TB external storage, I'm looking for the optimal config to get my files off the MacBookPro and onto anyone or more of these in a manner thats easily useable, sounds easy yes but Ive too many devices where Im default network manager...oh also running Netgear CM500 modem and the R6300v2 Router modem has NAS I have no idea how that works, just stepped back into the Pc world.

The 4th gen time capsules had power supply/voltage regulation issues, if i remember correctly.
Mine started to die too. There was a fix where you could solder an extra cap which often fixed the issue. Didn't work for me, so replaced with the current design.
The issue mainly effected wifi for me.

If you want a decent backup/connected storage setup, you can't start with faulty hardware.
Doesn't matter how you set it up, there will always be issues.

A working time capsule alone should be enough.
Your Mac can automatically back up to it, and it shows up in Finder as a Shared Device where you can drag and drop files as usual.
If you need more space, you can attach that usb hdd directly to the TC.
