my 42 inch lg tv wont change from hdmi it wont go to anything else whats wrong with it

Is anything else actually plugged in? In most TVs if nothing is plugged in the inputs are greyed out that are no in use. Did you contact LG support if the thing is in warranty? Did this just start happening out of no-where or was there a power surge/outage or something else that may have damaged it?
