Looking for 3.5mm Extension Cable that Includes In-Line Volume and Mic Mute

Hey, I'm trying to find a cable that has a combined audio/mic 3.5mm input (those used for mobile devices, not a mic and audio cables combiner with mic mute and volume control) which also includes in-line volume and mic mute controls.

I suppose something like this, but with volume and mic mute: http

You may need to chain of couple of different products together: E.g., a 3.5mm inline switch going to the volume control - not the most elegant solution....

If you are at all handy or have a friend who can solder you may be able to make a custom set up that will meet your requirements.
Just a small project box in which to mount the switches and jacks.

Might even be able to make the connections with heat shrink tubing. Not as good as soldered connections but you could at least do a prototype.
