I've been getting random pop-ups for the past 3 days, just on the Chrome browser. They're not very frequent, just once every couple hours or so, and until today they have only appeared when Chrome is not open.
I have Avast antivirus, Malwarebytes, Hitman and AVG and none of them have managed to find anything. I reset Chrome, cleared the history, cache, extensions etc., uninstalled it yesterday and used Firefox for the rest of the day - and noted that I didn't get any popups - then installed Chrome again today and a popup appeared. I've closed all of the websites before reading the addresses except for the most recent one, which was to "bongacams.com". I've read up on popups to this website and the fixes I've found suggest finding it in your control panel or Chrome extensions and removing it - it isn't in either.
Any help with this is appreciated.

What type of pop ups are you experiencing? Try downloading process explorer it's a free program that allows you to see which programs are running on your system. There is even a rating from virustotal that tells you whether a file is malicious or not. Process explorer also tells you how much space the files are taking up on your system. Virus total is an online scanner that allows you to scan a url/files for viruses. This online scanner uses 40+ antiviruses and antimalware programmes just search virus total on google and click on first link. If that doesn't work try downloading a sandbox to run that file in a contained environment which it can't hurt anything and will allow you to observe its actions. If that doesn't work try downloading herdprotect, it's a scanner that has over 60 antivirus engines and will find almost anything, i use it myself, unfortunately, it doesn't actually remove the malware, it detects it so that you can be aware of them. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
