HDMI laptop to tv connection problem

I have connected my laptop to my tv with HDMI lead and always worked fine. Tried it this evening and it keeps saying on the tv no signal. Have tried the laptop and lead on my parents and it's fine. Any ideas what might be wrong on my tv settings?

Hi,

When you connect the TV using the HDMI cable press then Windows key + P at the same time and select between Duplicate or Extended Display and press Enter. If these doesn't work try to uninstall/reinstall the graphics card driver and see if that will solve the issue.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics card driver.
- Reboot your laptop and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- After the reboot press the Windows key + P again then test it.
