I need some help deciding between two laptops, or finding a better alternative.

I would use the laptop both for games and for classes (needs to be able to handle a virtual machine). I live in the UK and i am looking for a laptop at around £1000. The laptop would need to be able to handle games like fallout 4 with mods, at a decent fps and quality. Weight and battery life are not a concern, however i would like to able to load up programs quickly, so a ssd or hybrid sshd would be appreciated.

Please respond with the specs and brand you think would suit me the best, and thanks in advance.

Definantly the DDR4, since it's more power efficient and a tad faster than DDR3. Go with 16GB just to be safe since mods...

Memory wise, do you know what the difference is between the DDR3-1600 SODIMM memory and the DDR4 2133MHz SODIMM memory, and secondly, do you think 8GB RAM is ok, or should I go for the 16GB?

As for the storage, I'm probably going to go for a terabyte of HDD space and either a 120GB or 240GB SSD. I however don't know the differences between the different models, and would like to know which model SSD and HDD you think I should get.

Definantly the DDR4, since it's more power efficient and a tad faster than DDR3. Go with 16GB just to be safe since mods can take a significant amount of ram and vram.

Go with the 240GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD, and the generic 7200RPM 1TB HDD. The WD Back drive is faster, however power savings takes a down turn.
