Ok so I am trying to output my laptop screen to my new Eizo CS270 monitor from my Sony Vaio Laptop .. On Windows 10. Connected via HDMI cable, but monitor says "No Signal" on the HDMI whatever I try.
Something must be working because NVIDIA Control Panel actually recognises it as a CS270 Monitor but still no display.
I have tried all modes in the Windows Projection Settings, ie Duplicate, Extend etc.
If anyone has any further ideas on what I could try, I'd be grateful!
thanks

Hi,

Have you tried connecting the monitor onto a different device that uses HDMI? Next is to try and use another HDMI cable. If these will not work do try these other troubleshooting steps.
- Uninstall/reinstall the graphics card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics driver.
- In Programs and Features uninstall anything related to your graphics card.
- Once done, download and install the latest driver there is from the manufacturer site of the graphics card.
- Reboot your laptop once the driver has been installed then test it again.
- If all these will not work I would suggest trying another external monitor and see if that will work.

Thanks very much for your help. Your right I should verify the cable and monitor with different equipment but I haven't been able to do that yet. The graphics driver i have tried reinstalling. Unfortunately there is probably no easy answer to this one. and maybe i can try a differeent method of connecting is prob best. thanks again
