Hi, I'm sure this isn't the best way to hook up a system in the house, but I'm pretty much doing it just for a weekend, and with 0$ to spend.

I have an old xbox 360 power supply that I'm using to power the amp/subs from my car, in the house. What I'm trying to do is run the power supply to the aftermarket car cd player, the amp, and the subwoofers. If possible, I'd like to have a toggle switch, so that I can just flip things on without moving an entertainment center to plug things in. I'd also like the cd player to save the settings when "off" just like in the car. I'd also like to add some regular speakers as the mids/highs So..wall outlet, to car stereo, branch off to speakers and amp/subwoofers.... And retain settings Can someone PLEASE help me wire this up?

The cd player has your regular wires, plus 3 rca outputs... The amp is a 2 channel amp with one set of rca inputs.

Interesting setup you have. My first thought is whether the xbox360 power supply is big enough to work. You would need 12 volts PLUS
a lot of current (amps) to run your setup in the house. Look at the ratings for the xbox supply and verify it can supply, say 10 amps or so of 12V power. I suspect that the power supply may be under-rated for your needs but am unfamiliar with the xbox power supply specs.

"The cd player has your regular wires, plus 3 rca outputs... The amp is a 2 channel amp with one set of rca inputs."

regular wires?
if so, connect exactly as you would in the car.
DC 12V power to cd player's switched and unswitched inputs ( red, yellow?)
DC 12V power also to power amp
switched DC 12V out of cd player to amp remote turn on wire.
subs connected to amp
other speakers (mid, high, or full range) connected to speaker wires output on cd player
cd player's on off switch turns system on/off
DC12V input on memory wire (yellow?) to cd player retains memory
you need to verify the color code of power input/output wires on the cd player correctly to make this work
