Hi,

Normally you should be able to get all the drivers of your PC from the manufacturers site. May we know the exact model number of your PC?

You may also try these link from Intel Download Center: (Just use the Auto update)
https/downloadcenter.intel.com/

It's a dell Latitude E6430, It used to be windows 7, now 8.1 and I have looked through all the chipset drivers on the dell website and I found 2 USB host control drivers but 1 installed and 1 didnt work, but the one that installed didnt do anything.

Plus it says no drivers detected on the scan

And could I maybe like Uninstall them and have them reinstall or something? Im not sure

are the usb ports 2 different colors as 1 is black & the other is blue? if 2 different colors, is the black ports working?

No USB ports are working and I guess no? they look like normal silver usb ports.? http/prntscr.com/9hetj8 look at that

inside it will be blue or black as usb 3 is usually blue & black for usb 1 & 2 types. that laptop has usb3 on it as winhas generuic drivers for usb 1 & 2 but needs special drivers for usb 3.

Like INSIDE the ports? they're all black inside. but I think this is a software issue rather than hardware, but you know more than me lol

My windows 8.1 now has 64 bit but I used to have windows 7 but I dont remember which bit

I was also wondering if somehow I could system backup to go before the failed update or if I updated to Windows 10 that would just reinstall it? im not sure.

I have it to automatically update but im not sure how or why to restore, what I just "Uninstall" the updates I had from when the day it crashed?
