Hi,

There are few things you can try that may help.

1. Try logging into Safe Mode, while the laptop is booting up repeatedly press on F8 until it loads Advanced Boot Options. Select Safe Mode and then press Enter, once loaded do try to login.
2. If these doesn't work do contact Acer for more support about the password related concern.

Thank you for your response.
The laptop seems to be fine when switched on, but no response from keys or mouse at all.
When i press on the space bar button, it should switch to the log on page. No response.
Not sure what i should do?
