I have an Acer Aspire V5 473-P running the latest Windows 10 update. I want to use one of the new AC routers and take advantage of Mu-Mimo when lots of clients are online (and just speed improvements). My wireless card is the Qualcom Atheros AR5BWB222 using 802.11n with Bluetooth.

What recommended AC cards would be compatible and take advantage of Mu-Mimo tech, when possible)?

What do I need to be aware of? Do I risk losing Bluetooth?

Thanks.

Solution
just get an usb ac wireless adapter as long as it is 802.11ac compliant as of 2013\2014.

Yes, thanks.

I want to upgrade my wireless card from N to AC, as mentioned in the original post. I also want it to work with Mu-Mimo routers going into the future. If I'm going to upgrade the wireless card anyway, I want it to Mu-Mimo capable. Any recommendations for my laptop setup?

Anyone? I am worried about compatability of a new wireless card with my laptop/motherboard. Obviously, as expressed, I would like a new AC card to be Mu-Mimo capable, but I am open to what works best. Any suggestions?
