can't connect to wi-fi

hello all I have that dreaded question why isn't my laptop Toshiba Satellite l355-7905 going on the net all settings have been cked and appear correct/ have tried different suggestions still no success /restart router,cked the network settings, everything tablet/phone/laptop is fine just this one, it was not used for 4 months, but nothing has been changed i'm running win Vista

- Start by uninstalling/reinstalling the wireless adapter.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the wireless adapter. Once uninstalled reboot your laptop and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- After installing the driver do try connecting wireless again.
- If all these will not work you may need to run a complete factory reset.
