There is a window in the top right corner of my laptop screen that says Toshiba Service Station: Software Updates and it says that I have one new update. When I put my cursor over it, the is a circle that keeps spinning. It has been there for a couple of hours and I can't do anything on my computer. How do I get rid of this window? Thanks

Now the window is gone but when I click on a website, I get the main page of the site but when I try to navigate, I get a message that the website is not responding and can't get any further than that page.
