A few ago I updated all of my drivers, and afterwards noticed that my laptop no longer shuts down/sleeps properly - the fan stays on, or even speeds up, and it does not wake up when I press the power button, I have to force-shutdown the machine and boot it again.
The reason I am assuming it is linked to the Intel Driver, is because I tried disabling the driver from Device Manager, however by doing so, even the screen won't switch off - it "glows black". So Intel Driver has to be related somehow.
I already tried temporarily uninstalling the driver, or picking an earlier driver version, but the issue persists so I don't know what else to try.
Rolling Windows back to an earlier state is not possible, because the only restore point is after the driver update - god knows why.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
