When I plug my Acer Aspire R14 in to the charger, it makes it almost impossible to use. Little brief circles keep appearing on the screen and the cursor keeps jumping all over the screen. Only happens while charging. Acer is only 2 months old. Any solutions?

Hi,
Start by doing a Windows Update and install the important update there is available. If these will not work here are some more troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Uninstall/reinstall "microsoft acpi-compliant control method battery" in Device Manager. Once uninstalled reboot your laptop and it should reinstall automatically then observe if the same problem will persist.
- Next is to change some settings in Power Option. Right click on the battery icon and select Power Options.
- Change the Power plan to High performance and see if the same problem will persist.
- Do try another AC adapter that has the same voltage and see if it will do the same because if not you'll need to contact Acer for a replacement AC adapter.
