Hi guys so ive got a problem... so first of all i decided to clean my laptop with compressed air because before that my laptop would be so hot if i played games on it.. it would reach around 80-90 degrees when playing.. now its only around 60-70 which is good but the fps has dropped badly... for example i used to have 120 fps on league of legends now i only get 30-50.. i dont know whats wrong. i didnt dismantle the laptop to clean the fan, all i did was spray the compressed air from the outside

Hi,

When you cleaned the laptop did you apply an new thermal paste as well? I would suggest applying a new thermal paste then install the latest driver for your graphics card.
- Uninstall the old driver from Device Manager.
- Do the same in Programs and Features, uninstall anything related to your graphics card.
- Download and install the latest driver from the manufacturer.
- Here's a link you can use.

Since you didn't take it apart, thermal paste and drivers are not likely the issue. You could have dislodged your RAM with the compressed air. Since your GPU accesses the system RAM, a reduction in total available system RAM will present the issues you are describing. Right click "Computer", navigate to, and left click "Properties" and see how much RAM your system is reporting. If it's not what your system is supposed to have, you simply need to reseat your RAM sticks.
