Basically, what I would like to do is have the user be able to, in table view, select a record, and then have that be the selected record for the data entry form. So, if the user is in the table and selects the fifth record, then returns to the data entry form, the fifth record will be selected for data entry.

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks,
Vaughn

Without knowing the entire database setup; i.e., menus, buttons, "user proofing" etc., there are probably a couple of ways to go about that.

My first thought is that you could use a macro to open the table and scroll through the table as intended.

Select a record and click a button to go into form view.

May even be simpler than that.....

I also believe that you can set up an icon in the menu bars to toggle the view. E.g. when you switch from Table/Datasheet view to Form View the form will open on the currently selected record.
