I have a HP 2009m monitor and it includes internal speakers in it...However, I have always used my external speakers. A few weeks ago the speakers stopped working and my monitor speakers started playing.. I thought maybe my speakers had died but when I did a sound check they work.. I feel like I must have changed something but I don't know how to get fixed. Help???

Hi,
Do check if your external speaker is set as the default playback device.
- Right click on the speaker icon on your PC then select Playback Device.
- If you'll see 2 speaker and the other one has a green check that means it the default speaker that is set.
- To set the other speaker as the default, just right click on it and select Set Default.
- Click Apply and OK.
