I'm just wanting a new mic for live streaming to upgrade to and I'm not sure what to get. XLR or USB? Is XLR worth it for what I'd be doing? or should I just get the USB and then later upgrade to XLR if need be?

they are the same microphone. the only differences are how you will control them and that via xlr and a mixer you can record at a higher bitrate than with the usb model.

usb input is more convenient and does not require extra cables or hardware. you will have to control gain and volume through software. if you're looking for...
