I reset my old laptop to give to my sister and after the reset we tried to do the windows 10 setup on it for her and it just keeps restarting and going over the same process again and again. It will turn on, show the acer logo and then go to the windows logo with the loading dots and then to the set up page where you set the language, location, time, etc. click next and it goes to settings (location, sharing, etc) we have clicked both use express settings and changing the settings to custom and it will always say its setting up with the blue screen and windows logo and then restart again.. wont boot into safe mode either..

Hi,

The only way out of it is to do another clean install with it's original OS. After resetting the laptop make sure to install all the important updates first before proceeding with installing Windows 10 in your PC. Also just use Media creation tool and install Windows 10 using a USB drive this time instead of doing the update method.

Here's a support link from Microsoft as well about upgrading to Windows 10.
