I don't know if I'm doing this thread thing correctly, so my laptop suddenly made a static sounding singular buzz then went completely dead, when I put it back on it immediately cuts back off with the same noise. Does anyone know what I should do? Please?

Hi,

The buzzing sound may be a short circuit. It would be best not to turn it on yet that may cause more damage in the long run. Do check the inside of your laptop first to make sure there's no burnt up part that is causing the buzzing sound. Here are also some troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Start by doing a hard reset, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try if it will boot up.
- If these will not work test the AC adapter to see if it's supplying enough voltage to power the laptop or if you have another charger that has the same voltage you can use try it and see if it will boot up normally.
- Next to try is to reseat the RAM, remove them all for couple of seconds then put...

- If all these will not work the problem will be with the motherboard of your laptop.
