i5 4th generation vs 5th worth it?

Is it worth the difference of $80 between the two laptops: Acer Aspire F5-517T-569T Signature vs Acer Aspire E5-573G-52G3? Thanks!

they are both U series i5's 5th gen will be 2.9% faster clock for clock. im unsure what exact cpu that each one will be, but it will not be worth $80.

Look for a laptop with a 6th gen i5. those have 5% faster cpu and much better igpu.

From an everyday usage point of view, the difference in processor performance is not a big deal since the performance difference is pretty small.

If you plan on playing games, then the Acer Aspire E5-573G-52G3 for $80 more will be worth it because it has a dedicated nVidia 940m GPU. That laptop also has a 1080p screen, but the 940m is not powerful enough to play most games at that resolution.

The Acer Aspire F5-571T-569T has a 1366x768 resolution screen and it uses Intel's HD 4400 graphics core which is pretty weak compared to the 940m.

Basicly neither of them are that good of a laptop. personal preference I would never buy a acer unless it was a screaming deal. ive seen some poor design choices on laptops ive had to repair that I haven't seen in other OEMs
