Hello, this is my first time posting :D.

I'm looking for a good laptop for programming / browsing that won't freeze and can manage a good amount of open programs.

While doing uni work is my main focus, I must say that I'd like to do some game developement on this laptop. Nothing high-end, but it should handle software like Unity or Blender decently for low poly stuff.

Also, I'm not aiming for a high end gaming laptop but I want to play some past-gen games, things like league of legends and starcraft 2 should run at a decent speed, even if it has to be on low settings. I might even want to play a bit higher end games in the long run, but I'm not hoping to play anything from the current generation (i.e. ps4-like).

Now that my requirements are clear, I've got this offer:

ASUS Laptop:
- intel i7-3630QM (with Intel HD4000 integrated graphics)
- GeForce 610M dedicated graphics with 2GB ram
- 8GM DDR3 RAM
- 1TB HDD

Price is 400€, so $400 more or less and it's used (a couple years).

The biggest flaw I see in it is the graphics card. It looks like even the integrated graphics card on the CPU has a better passmark score than the dedicated one.

So how do you think is this laptop going to fit my needs? The processor looks really good to me but I'm afraid that card is going to be a big bottleneck.

Thank you very much.

Solution
CPU is OK, but I would not get a system for game development with such a low end card. Look for something with a 840m or 940m class video card or an A10 AMD CPU.
