I have had my Satelite for a few years now and over my extensive use of the computer its CPU has lost a bit of integrity. I was just wondering if it is possible to upgrade the CPU. I already know that you can upgrade the ram and change the HDD over into a mSATA SSD , but I don't know about the CPU. If it helps it is an Ivy Bridge intel i5-3337U @ 1.80 GHz and it uses a 1023 FCBGA socket. The motherboard is a Toshiba house-made, with the Ivy Bridge Chipset and HM76 southbridge.
Thanks

From that model specs, I only see it configured with that one CPU. Does not mean that it won't work with another of the same socket and wattage but without seeing it done you are taking a chance with trying to change it.

Just a little slow, I have tested it in AIDA 64 and other programs. Not saying that I necessarily am going to change it just wondering if it is possible.
