So i just bought my MSI GE62 2QD, excited to play and look at how it runs games i quickly open it and install the latest gtx 960m drivers. Then after that i install a few games I open metro 2033 and CRASH!!! "Metro 2033 stopped working", In much confusion i try opening another game, Darkest Dungeon, i start the game and it instantly crashes, just like metro 2033. Im sure there is some sort of driver i am missing. The only game ive tried so far that works flawlessly is The Long Dark, i have no idea why though, The only other thing ive tried is running steam and the games in Admin Mode, and Safe mode. But nothing, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try turning off your GTX 960m entirely and remove the driver. Try playing the games with the integrated gpu (as much of a pain as this will be) and see if they crash again. If they don't then we know its the 960m or its driver but if they do, you have ruled out gpu problems.

So I should note that ive tried about 10 other games since, and they all work but the first ones i tried metro 2033 and darkest dungeon still don't. When i double click on the executable to open metro the screen goes black kind of like its opening and than it says in the middle of the black screen "Metro 2033 has stopped working" thats pretty much all that happens.
