I have an acer aspire 7750g-9810 that is 3.5~ years old.
Lately I have decided to play a couple games and after about 45 mins. the battery will stop charging and it drops my FPS dramatically in league of legends. While it stays charged, I receive 110+ fps, when it stops charging, I receive 25~.
I set it to high performance battery mode and changed it back to balance, the same issue occurs.
Googled this problem and uninstalled the microsoft something driver, then scanned for hardware changes and it re-installed the same thing and the problem keeps occuring.
Is this because I'm using so much battery power while playing and the laptop gets hot? It's a decent laptop. While charging and playing, the battery remains above 95% until it starts disconnecting continuously.
Is there a windows option to allow continuous charging?
There seems to be no problem with the laptop, haven't had any issues with hardware.
