Hi,

I am looking for a laptop for my daughter. I suspect the most demanding thing she will play on it will be Minecraft.

I have narrowed it down to 2. Both are about the same price and spec, except 1 has a gtx 950m GPU, and the other has gt 940m GPU but has 120GB SSD.

Would you go for the better graphics card or for the not so good graphics card but also has SSD?

Here are the links:

Many Thanks,

For minecraft the cpu is more important. The gt 940m will be enough to play the game. You could look at the acer e5 with a gt 940m for around the same price and it will be more balanced.

I'd go with the better graphics card.

SSDs are basically mainly for faster boot times into the operating system, and some games can benefit from faster loading screens and faster saving. I am not sure if Minecraft benefits from a SSD however.
