Asus g501jw vs Dell inspiron 7759

The specs are as follow:
Asus g501
Intel Core i7-4720HQ (4-cores, 2.60 - 3.60 Ghz, 6mb chas)
12GB (1x 4096MB + 1x 8192MB) - DDR3, 1600Mhz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M (4GB GDDR5)
256GB SSD, i will add 1tb hdd for storage
15.6" (39.62 sm.) - 3840x2160 (4? UHD), IPS matte

Dell isnpiron 7759
Intel Core i7-6700HQ (4-cores, 2.60 -3.50 GHz, 6MB chas)
8GB (1x 8192MB) - DDR3L, 1600Mhz, i will change this to 2x4gb ddr4 2133mhz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M (4GB GDDR5)
1TB SSHD (8GB SSD + 1TB HDD (5400 rpm) and i will add 256gb boot ssd
15.6" (39.62 ??.) - 1920x1080 (Full HD), matte

i am going for the asus because of its sleek design and the reduced weight, and i chose the dell because of its 6th gen cpu and (i think) better gpu cooling, the price for the laptops + the upgrades is the same, and i dont mind loosing the 4k display on the asus. If you can suggest me better alternatives i am open to hear them. Either of these two laptops will be carried a lot because i am developing a degree on software engineering but i want to play the latest triple aaa titles (even on low).

I can pretty much guess their prices, and I know that for like 40$ more there is an Asus which has gtx 960m again and 6th gen with DDR4 ram. You can't change the ram on the Dell because it's mobo supports only DDR3, and one of the main benefits of 6th gen (ddr4) is lost. So just check the retailer there should be an asus with 8gb DDR4, 6700hq, FHD IPS Screen and 8/16GB DDR4.
