So while trying to download the Elder Scrolls Online game for my roommate last night on her laptop, it kept resetting. Well after the third time I decided to shut down and give up, because it wasn't my laptop. I clicked shut down and waited 5 minutes before closing the top, this morning when my roommate came out to get her laptop, it had turned back on and it told her she needed to reboot and select the correct boot option, as well as putting in a bootup disc. The strange thing is when we restarted and pressed F9 (it's an Asus) nothing happened. We restarted and tried Alt+F9 but still nothing happened, we tried this a few times but to no success. My question is; are we doing something wrong? Or did the Windows 10 update change the required input?

Solution
Seems like there is a hard drive or other hardware issue with the system, or the OS build has gotten corrupt. Go into the BIOS and look for a hardware scan utility, scan the hard drive with that. If it all comes out good, try starting in Safe Mode. If that works, run the command "sfc /scannow" at a command line (type cmd in the search field to start that)
