Toshiba satellite c50-b screen. Won't go past the Toshiba screen

Hi,
The problem may lie between the HDD and the motherboard of your laptop. Here are some troubleshooting steps to identify which one is faulty.
- Start by removing the HDD and boot your laptop then see weather if it will get pass the Toshiba splash screen. If does get pass the splash screen turn off the laptop put the HDD back in and see if it will get stuck or not again and if it does the problem is the HDD.
- If the laptop will still get stuck at the Toshiba screen while the HDD is out that means it's the motherboard that has the problem.
- What you can try to reset BIOS by removing the CMOS battery for couple of seconds , put it back in and see if will resolve the issue or not.
