I have a Toshiba Laptop. When in use I have it plugged in all the time, the battery is still in as I don't take it out. Is it ok to run my Laptop with the battery in keeping it plugged into the outlet. Should I remove the battery?
If it's constantly plugged in, yes, remove the battery. My grandparent had to buy two replacement batteries because they never unplugged their laptops.
I ran my Toshiba Z830-10U like this for more than three years and had no problems with battery capacity. The battery can't be removed anyway.
Well, all laptops are different, but it seems that maybe newer laptops don't have the same problem. Knowing that most MacBooks in offices may stay on AC with the battery, it's really hard to tell. :L
