I have a new note 5. Although I am not much of an audiophile but I like to listen to Music every once in a while, I was looking for a decent pair of headphones within 100$.
Although the Sony MDR X-10 costs 300, but i am getting it for 100 bucks,
Should I take it or not. If not please suggest a decent pair of headphones within 100$.

for below $100 the creative aurvana live! are pretty decent although i'd say the 558's or 518's are better. decent quality for the price though they arent very good if you like to listen loud.

the ath-m50s is about $100ish and is not bad however has a small soundstage. a more bassy sound but not basscannon like.

either the sennheiser hd280 or hd429 or similar offer pretty strong bass output for cheap and with the mods people do to them it becomes rather powerful indeed.

grado has the sr80e, though unless you like how grado colors sound and enjoy brighter treble they might not be for you.

the ad500x are cheap right now and have a huge soundstage and good quality treble (they are great for gaming) though are known to be very bass...
the mdr x10 likely would fall into the bass cannon range of headphones. very bassy and boomy but treble and mids suffer heavily because of it. build quality is also questionable.

if you're a bassophile perhaps worthwhile although if you are not you might want to look elsewhere. the hd558 is $99 right now on amazon which is worth a look if you want something a little more neutral.

a few other choices listed for budget headphones from others..

Logitech ue6000
Koss-KSC75
Superlux HD-662b
JVC HA-S500
Takstar Pro80 (this is what the hyper x cloud headset is based on actually)

of all them, the hd518/hd558 are fairly in the middle of the road so easy for most people to enjoy unless they are looking for anything specific such as lots of bass (i did not list any basshead headphones) or want very detailed bright treble or other specific scenarios.
