I just bought an Asus F555LA-AB31 $356 with taxes and shipping included! :D
5th-generation 2.1 GHz Core i3-5010U (1920*1080) (4 gigs of ram)

I bought this laptop mainly for school since i game on my desktop.
I want to attach an external graphics card for occasional gaming when traveling.
Im mostly experienced with desktops, so ill appreciate any help. i have done some research to see if this laptop has an ExpressCard slot but haven't found if it does and where.
I assume it should have one occupied by the wireless network adapter (forgive me if im wrong :p).

anyone owns this laptop or has any input on how to approach this? Thanks

im trying to use the EXP GDC expresscard to pci-express adapter and an external psu.

Very likely there is no express card slot in that laptop, they have not been used on laptops for a bit. The network adapter would be in a PCIe slot. Express card is access from outside the case like an SD card reader slot. You would need that card adapter you linked connected to an internal PCIe slot with a power supply for the video card. That adapter is limited to PCIe1 speeds so any card past the lower range gaming cards would be limited by that interface. Once you get done buying the adapter, video card and power supply you would have spent about as much as just buying a $700-800 laptop with a lower range gaming grade video card. So if you want to use this for gaming while traveling you will need to bring the video card, adapter and the power supply for the card with you. Not very handy to carry with a laptop.
