So basically I can afford to get a set of speakers worth £100 or under. I don't live alone so I guess that puts a certain restriction on things but I usually game, listen to music and watch films now and then so here's kinda of what I'm looking for:

I don't really need surround so much because I have a headset which is surround that I use for gaming if I'm playing seriously.
I would like them to be decently loud so as to be able to fill a room with music and if I'm watching films I would like them to be loud enough to really feel immersed.
I think a sub would be nice for getting some real bass but this doesn't need to be crazy good since I'm on the second floor and it will likely just annoy people :3

So basically I'm looking for good quality sound over surround and with a reasonable amount of bass. If PC speakers arn't really the solution then please suggest something else but otherwise suggest away with any speakers you think would fit :D

Those are little much, I mean not loads more and if you really think it's worth it then I'll look into them but any ideas on how the Z533's are? I like the volume control dial with the extra inputs and outputs and if the bass and quality is decent then I'm fairly sure I'll get those :D

Have used lots of Logitech speakers on my, family, and others PCs. Everybody happy. Use to have the ole Z2300s but sold em for more than I paid new. Great sound. Didn't need em anymore cuz they got replaced with a big audio system. L. doesn't make that set anymore.
Good stuffs. The THX things are better with a full frequency range. Hope this helps:).
