So, I recently found out that my webcam isn't working. Which is strange, considering how it worked months ago, when I last used it. Okay, turns out my HP notebook's internal camera's driver is missing. Checked "Device Manager", and it's not there. And so far is been an enormous pain trying to replace the missing driver. Can anyone help?
Model: HP 2000-2b19WM Notebook PC

Yeah, but it did detect some other drivers that needed updating, so I at least got something out of it! So two possibilities just occurred to me:

1. The "Cyberlink Youcam" bloatware that came installed with my computer may have been bundled with my camera's drivers. I tried re-downloading it from HP's website, but when it was finished it didn't detect the camera. So that's probably not it, but it was worth mentioning.

or

2. The camera became disconnected from the computer itself. One of the commentators on "http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware/tips-for-when-your-webcam-is-not-detected/td-p/1988517" said that this is a common problem on HP notebooks, and could explain why none of my software is detecting the damn thing...

It was worth a shot. I guess you already read this:

I've run into similar issues before. The OEM's quit supporting older laptops after a time and when you upgrade to a new OS, you have a lot of problems finding drivers that will work.

Here is a link (for Win 8 but should still work) about manually installing drivers. If you can determine the manufacturer of the webcam itself, you might be able to go to their website and find a Windows 10 driver and install it.

If this is the case, that means I'm gonna have to pop of the back of the monitor and reattach it.

*UPDATE* Okay, I checked to see if the camera was still internally connected, and it appeared to be fine. So I've officially run out of ideas.
