Hello everyone I really need your help. I have a HP laptop and all of a sudden the battery stop working so while in the process of getting a new one I was just using my charger in the laptop without the battery for a while. Till one day I tried to turn it on and it won't come on and I only see a while light flashing at the charger port. So I taught maybe I should go an get a new battery. When I did I order it from eBay an it came fully charged and put it in the laptop booted up and I was using it but when I try to charge the battery it will not charge. I got the charger tested and got the right amount of voltage out of it. I was told maybe it was the DC in power cable which is conntect to the motherboard that's the part you plug the changer into. So I bought it off eBay and try it and it still don't work. Now the laptop battery is dead and when I plug in the charger the white light just flashes but the laptop won't boot up.
Please help

Hi,

I would try another AC adapter first that has the same voltage with yours and see if it will boot it back up without the battery. It will save you time and money before considering on buying a new AC adapter.
