Best way to make sure my PC is nice and clean?

I use Malwarebytes and Kapersky. It never seems to find anything when I do scans(which is a good thing I guess) but I find it odd that I've never had it find anything at all. What other ways can I make sure my PC is completely clean? Ways that maybe Kapersky/Malwarebyes don't cover.

I would suggest installing a free version of AVG, just for the active protection side. I also use AVG to scan any files that are from an un-trusted source (things that aren't from steam, or obvious websites that wouldn't have viruses attached to their software). I would also recommend finding a program that will scan your files before everything starts up (pre startup) so viruses will not be able to hide themselves. I can't exactly remember what software lets you do this, I believe it might of been avast, but im not sure.

Honestly, if MalwareBytes AM isn't finding anything, odds are, you have nothing worth worrying about.

(If you wish to clear a few hundred cookies, SuperAntiSpyware excels at that, at least...)

HitmanPro is free to scan with, and uses multiple AV engines....

There are some things that MalwareBytes cannot pickup. I have had personal experience and tests with the software and have found it to remove mostly everything.

AVG is just a free anti virus, in case you dont want to pay for "premium" anti virus. It is still a good antivirus though.

Well I have a Kapersky sub and Malwarebytes so I suppose I'm good for now. Just wanted to see if there were any measures I wasn't aware of to make sure my PC keeps running smooth.

Yeah, as long as you have an active protection software and malwarebytes to do a scan every now and then, you will be fine. Just try and stay off sketchy sites and your will be fine :)
