Hey, so I've put my new 950 pro in my laptop and it has turned my perfectly working msi gt72s pro into a laptop that doesn't turn on. Any ideas on how to figure this out?

Your problem is probably the same as other laptop users that have installed this drive, your motherboard bios doesn't support it. Although your laptop could be configured with NVME SSD's they were likely the Samsung SM951 AHCI which will work with MSI Super Raid. Based on other posts I've seen in various forums, and my experience with this drive in an Alienware 17 R3, Windows won't play nicely with that kind of setup. I successfully cloned my SM951 to the 950 Pro and it happily booted and worked well for a few days before Windows started refusing to boot. I eventually had to change the RAID setting in my BIOS to AHCI and reinstall Windows to get the drive and Windows to play nice with each other.
