Hi, I was thinking about buying a new laptop, I need it for my university so I need something light and easy to carry around with a good battery. I will use it basically for the Adobe suite, in particular: Photoshop, illustrator,Indesign and some Premiere and after effects.
So I was thiking about the Macbook pro 15" (2015) in the configuration with the 2,5Ghz i7 cpu, 512 Gb PCIe and AMD Radeon R9 M370X.
But I was reading on the internet that next year Apple will relase the new Macbook generation which will proably have the new Skylake processors.
What do you think would be the best laptop for me? they suggested me also the Dell XPS 15, what do you think about that?
would you suggest me to wait for the Skylake processors?
Thank you!

depends on it. You want a very simple to use OS, watch youtube, decently fast processor, itunes, just a very user friendly PC overal? Dont wait, just buy the macbook. Dell xps 15? yes its decent, but Mac OS is just such a light operating system that the macbook will probably outperform the Dell.
anwser: Dont wait for 2016 buy the Macbook.

I am also looking for a high performance machine on which I could work properly with Photoshop Indesign illustrator Premiere etc.
Is Macbook pro 15 good for that?

if it is this macbook you're looking for[link removed, use apple website], good processor and video card. Should be easily able to handle photoshop, illustrator, dreamwaever, fireworks, like everything.

the standard configuration?

2.5GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.7GHz
16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
512GB PCIe-based Flash Storage
Intel Iris Pro Graphics + AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2GB GDDR5 memory
Force Touch trackpad
Backlit Keyboard (English) & User's Guide
Accessory Kit

if it are the specs above or better: you are totally fine

I was considering buying the actual Macbookpro 2015 15" in this configuration
2.5GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.7GHz
16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
512GB PCIe-based Flash Storage
Intel Iris Pro Graphics + AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2GB GDDR5 memory

and I was guessing that the MAcbook 2016 would probably have the new skylake cpu, so I was thinking if it was worthy to wait if I can get a better machine
Force Touch trackpad

cant decide that for you man... yes it obviously is better, ddr4 ram and hyperthreading will come in handy with rendering and yes, sometimes with photoshopping too... it's probably worth waiting. Unless you really need a pc right now.
Final conclusion: Wait for the macbook 2016, unless you really need a new pc at the moment.

it wont be that much more pricier. Apple products don't really drop in price over the years. It might be 2800-3000, but, i think there will be different versions, including a 2500 version. That's what i think.
