Hi guys,

As the title says, I'm looking for a gaming headset that doesn't make my ears hurt, and doesn't cost loads of money, but does work on both my PS4, as well as work on my PC.

My maximum budget is £40, but if there is something that ticks all my boxes for cheaper, then I'd prefer that.

Just so you know which material I currently have which I absolutely HATE look at the earcup material in this picture: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41-B2lr6CJL.jpg

^^ I hate that stuff.

And here is my headphones that I love (really comfortable, but doesn't have a microphone). Look at the ear-cups in this picture, as these are really comfortable: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/81uJHBvYVTL._SL1500_.jpg

^^ But I love that stuff!

I'd really appreciate any help. I know it's a lot of different things that I require, which is why I've been unable to find anything myself so far...

:)

i picked these in my own recent search:
http://www.amazon.com/SA-903-Headset-Headphone-Earphone-Microphone/dp/B00H8ND5AE

i had never owned a set before, so honestly i really didnt know exactly what i wanted. i know i liked the look of stuff that cost 200 bucks, and that i i definately didnt need to spend that kind of money lol.

these are virtual 7.1 surround, they sound great to me, and my buddy says i sound great on the mic. hey, for $26 i was willing to take a shot and im happy i did. they're comfortable for hours of play, feel nice and solid, and the braided cord is very long and durable. i THINK they work on ps4, but i havent tested it. i should do that. also pretty sure they're th material you're looking for.
