Selling my old rig, wanting a new laptop, help me choose please.

It's time for me to sell my old rig which i spent $1000 on. I am hoping to get anywhere from $650-$800. So that would be my price range.

I do some graphic design on Adobe Photoshop, video editing on Cyberlink PowerDirector, music production on Adobe Audition, and some gaming.

Games I play are mostly
Tom Clancy's: Ghost Recon Phantoms (Not too graphic intense)
Minecraft (like using texture packs and a good look overall so decently graphic intense)
BF4

I would like 15.6 or higher sized screen, full keyboard with number keys. At the lease 500gb hard drive and the one thing I am adamant about is at least 8gb of RAM.

Basically, I want a laptop where I don't need to sacrifice. I don't want to be graphically limited and I want just an overall smooth experience.

Thanks for any help or suggestions. I have never been much of a laptop person so I'm not exactly sure what to look for.

How much you're old rig is worth depends on whats in it and how old it is. But I think getting 65-80% on a rig that you want to sell because it no longer meets your needs is pretty optimistic unless you find a sucker. GLWS, but set your expectations.

Right now this is probably the best deal in laptops http

This is decent for the money but has a slower 5400 rpm hard drive http

I don't have a Frys near me and those laptops look okay but what about these, they seem to be more bang for the buck.

It is great but the Asus having both an SSD and a 1tb hdd is kinda awesome.

The SSD is half the size of the one in the Dell and it also has a slower video card, which for a laptop you can't change for a faster one later. Will you actually use the extra space?

I guess I can try to preserve space... haha thanks for the help and that laptop looks like it will fit my needs greatly
