Samsung UHD TV to old Home Theater Tuner

Hi,

Im having trouble connecting my home theater to my new samsung uhd tv. I bought a double rca cable and connected them on the right outputs. I set my tv on audio output and turnt on the home theater on any aux possible but it doesnt work.
Is it because i have the hdmis cables from ps4 and tv box connected to it? If so how can sound from the ps4 and tv box can go through the home theater? Can someone help me pls?

In order to get the best sound, you are going to want to get a new home theater. Using RCA, you are only ever getting stereo anyways and no real surround.

An AVR, or audio-video-receiver, has HDMI inputs and output that let you connect all your devices to it ,and then to the TV and will play proper true surround sound from it. You have a nce new 4K TV, give it some great sound to go with that awesome picture.

Does that mean I can't use my old home theater as it works normally? Personaly im satisfied by the sound it delivers, although i cant make it work, is there a way to make it work?

It's a swiss brand called Roadstar, model is DVD-5104PSPK

To determine where the problem is connect the HTS directly to your tv box (or PS3). If you get sound then the TV is not passing the digital audio through to the analog output. If the TV has a digital out then you could convert that to analog with a DAC like this one
