Which Laptop to choose for Gaming!

I am deciding between 2 laptops to purchase... both are similar are in price and the specs looks similar as well, which would you recommend going with? The asus seems to have better reviews but thought I would reach out and seek other opinions. I would be using these for gaming Mainly games like Wow, Heroes of the storm, LoL.. and I wish to run on the highest graphics as possible smoothly.

The Asus one has 6th gen CPU versus the Acer which has "only" a 4th gen. Asus supports DDR4 RAM and has twice as much (16gb ddr4 vs 8gb ddr3) and the Asus has faster HDD as well and the better OS. Only place where Acer has the upper hand is the GPU VRAM (4gb vs 2gb in the Asus) however since the 960M wont be playing all the latest AAA games in ultra quality with extra textures, the less VRAM shouldnt be a problem. I'd go with the Asus.

To be honest I think the laptop with 4gb vram because I saw I huge performance increase (20-40FPS) when I went from 2 to 4 and you need that extra 4gb of vram for the newest games. Also nobody needs more then 8gb of ddr3 ram and depending on which 4gen CPU it could possibly be just as good as the 6th gen.

Also if I were you I would check out the Lenovo Y50, you can find it here: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y50/ I have this laptop myself and let me say for the price this laptop is unstoppable has a 960m and you can choose 2-4gb of vram has a amazing keyboard, crisp sound, and best of all it has a 4K screen so if you want to play in 4K you can. This laptop maxes almost every title and I'm for sure this is better then both of the laptops your looking at.

you cannot game at 4k on that I assure you.
Unless you like playing 4k minesweeper

Well lower end games like counter strike you'll be able to play in 4k
