Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a laptop for college soon and would like to ask for your suggestions on what laptop I should be getting, I'm looking for one that is priced at around $800 or less, I intend to use it primarily for school works and gaming. Your inputs are highly appreciated :)

P.S. I'm currently considering getting the ASUS K555L laptop with a core i7-5500MM, 4gbRAM, and an Nvidia 940m video card.

There is the 15.6" Dell Inspiron 7559 for $800. It has a quad core i5-6300HQ CPU, 1080p screen, and nVidia GTX 960m. There are two versions....

#1 - Amazon w/ 256GB SSD

#2 - Dell w/ 1TB hard drive

However, it is a "perfect" laptop; like most laptops. Some people complained about the mouse pad a bit twitchy (you need to read reviews since I do not know the specifics), but if you primarily use a mouse most of the time, then it should not be a big deal. Some people have stated the screen is not very bright, it's bright enough to indoors, but not so much outdoors in bright daylight. People stated the Dell runs hot... it had a quad core CPU and it decently powerful GPU so things can get toasty. People stated they needed to prop up the back of the laptop to get better airflow. Might as well spend an extra $20 - $30 for a cooling pad.

Do your own research before buying. I was kinda interested in buying this laptop when I first heard about it. Not sure if I will though because I don't really need it since I already have two laptops, a gaming PC and a HTPC... but I like shinny new electronics...
