why my sony note book (laptop) PCG-9RFL is not power supply turned on?

actually iam using a old sony laptop model k23 and also called as PCG-9RFL ....i dont know what happen on that suddenly its power is NOT TURNED ON even the power indicators are also NOT INDICATING ..?

Hi,

Start by checking your AC adapter, make sure it's properly connected to the wall. If it's connected properly try and testing it using a multi tester and see if it's supplying enough voltage to power the laptop. Next is to do a hard reset, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then see if it will boot up. If these doesn't work try reseating the RAM, take them off for couple of seconds then put them back in making sure that they are seated properly. Lastly if all these troubleshooting steps will not work try another AC adapter that has the same voltage as yours have and if won't still boot up that means that motherboard may be fried.
