Hey

So I was looking at purchasing a laptop and i found this nice gigabyte laptop with the following specs:

Are there any issues with stability for installing the OS yourself (OS most probably will be Windows 8 or 7).
And does anyone know how to do it on a gigabyte (kind of a newbie question) :D

And if anyone has had any experience with that laptop or a similar one good or bad... would help me in making my decision.

thanks for the help

Nah, and even if they do I don't suggest you keep them. Just boot the windows disk, delete any already made partition and make ones on your own, like 200 gb C and other D and E and etc, the way you like it. Don't keep anything which comes stock when it comes to hdd/OS.

thanks just making sure, i have installed OSs like tons of times, just don't want to blotch it doing it on an expensive laptop. Another thing don't such laptops normally have their own little maintenance partitions or something and wouldn't that interfere with the installation of the windows?
