I am using a Lenovo Ideapad S110. I used it for over a year now. But last week, when I was turning my laptop on, there was a problem. At first, it start as usual. But there was a delay of a dim screen before it enter the welcome screen. Then it started. It suddenly shutting down by itself and will restart. I didn't even get to log in. It will start the same way and will shutdown the same way too. This process have no end to it. I tried waiting for it for a day but it was still the same. I also tried to log in using safe mode. It manged to log in but only for a few seconds. I can't even open the control panel in that time. I need help in finding a solution for this problem. There is so much important things in my laptop that I needed very much that I lay my living and life for it. Please help.

Hi,

It could be an issue with the OS already and doing a factory reset may be the only resolution. But do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in resolving the issue.
- Do a hard reset, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Plug just the AC adapter and see if it will load normally.
- If that doesn't work try to reseat the RAM, take them all off for couple of seconds then put them back in making sure that they are seated properly into each slot.
- Next is to try another AC adapter that has the same voltage with yours. If it doesn't stay on the issue may be in your laptop itself and a repair may be required.
- If your laptop is still under the factory warranty contact Lenovo support for a repair.
