trying to find a way to connect toshiba laptop to tv

Most of the time it's a standard for laptops to have VGA ports pre-installed even most of the old laptops but if it doesn't have one you can get an adapter but it would mean that you'll open your laptop to check for an available PCI-e slot. What's the model of your laptop so we can check the specification of yours.
