Heart Pounding MUSIC ONLY device

I want the heart pounding MUSIC experience but ONLY FOR LISTENING to music ( from internet and radio). I dont want to connect it to the TV. So are there like ONLY music systems which have speakers and woofers, because internet keeps on saying use sound bars or home theater systems for your TV. I am very confused.

Budget determines a lot in the audio area. So does source material. Overcompressed MP3 files will never sound great. What is your source material and budget?

For that budget, I would recommend a good pair of headphones and a headphone amp.

bookshelf speakers and a stereo amp would also work. you can pair it with a pc for internet radio and mp3 or use other devices for that.
