need help hooking up soundbar

I need help hooking up my sanyo 26" HDTV model dp26640 to a axess Bluetooth soundbar 2.1. I thought I knew a little I've tried everything I knew. I got my Wii to play through the sound bar to watch Netflix. I hook audio directly to soundbar n vudio to TV. Now with cable I want to hook TV to soundbar. Need help for dummies??or I just don't know what I'm doing anymore. I got TV from Walmart I've bought all kinds of cablesbn they told me how they thought but nothing. TV has digital audio output (orange) the soundbar has optical input. TV has HDMI the soundbar doesn't. The sound bar has the red n white input aux input the optical and USB. Can you help me

I went through n read n tried stuff. Skeptical I guess. I finally just ask and for a few dollars it worked. Plugged in what you told me to buy. Thank you wished I had just ask a few months ago
